Green manures
Im Biogarten ist die Gründüngung ein zentrales Mittel zur Bodenbelebung und Steigerung der Fruchtbarkeit. Sie wirkt sozusagen doppelt. Einmal über die Wurzeln: Das Wurzelwerk der Pflanzen lockert den Boden tiefgründig und reichert ihn mit Stickstoff an. Und über die Pflanzen: der Aufwuchs wird in der Regel abgemäht und in den Boden eingearbeitet oder an anderer Stelle im Garten als Mulch- oder Kompostbeigabe verwendet. So entsteht wertvoller Humus und der Boden wird nachhaltig verbessert.
Gründüngung kann Bodenlockerer, Stickstoffsammler, Unkrautunterdrücker oder Insektenernährer sein. Mit Hilfe unserer Filter können Sie individuell aussuchen welche Gründüngung Ihr Garten benötigt.
Die Auswahl der Gründüngung ist auch davon abhängig zu welcher Pflanzenfamilie die nachfolgende Kultur gehört. Unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Fruchtfolge muss immer darauf geachtet werden, dass Pflanzen aus derselben Familie nicht hintereinander an derselben Stelle angebaut werden.
