Annabelle is a waxy, early potato variety with yellow flesh, known for its particularly rapid growth. From mid-June onwards, it produces tender and flavoursome tubers. It performs well even in heavy soils; however, due to its early maturity and delicate skin, it is not well suitable for long-term storage. Annabelle is ideal for boiled or jacket potatoes, as well as casseroles, gratins, and delicious, firm potato salads. It is an outstanding seed potato for hobby gardeners who value excellent taste and versatile use, and it was the favourite in our own potato tasting.
