Heiderot is a red-fleshed, red-skinned, mid-season, waxy potato variety. It is distinguished by its flavoursome, slightly buttery taste and is excellent for mixed potato salad, boiled, fried, or jacket potatoes. Thanks to its intense red colour, Heiderot is one of the most striking and healthy varieties and is a new cultivar from the Lüneburg Heath.
