An Advent calendar filled with seeds brings joy not only in the run-up to Christmas, but also long afterwards, when the seeds are sown and the plants grow and flourish. Our calendars consist of 24 cardboard cubes that can be rearranged to create different designs.
Every day, a new surprise awaits inside the cubes: organic seeds for fresh salads, tasty vegetables, aromatic herbs and magnificent flowers that will enrich any garden – all exclusively open-pollinated varieties of Demeter quality.
The wintry, festive design of this calendar was created exclusively for us by illustrator Maike Neuendorff. Her distinctive style combines collage with painterly elements. The picture depicts an atmospheric harvest scene in a snow-covered city garden. The rich variety of winter vegetables on display there whets the appetite for the coming gardening year. And if you look closer, you’ll spot numerous animal visitors curiously observing the winter goings-on in the garden.
The varieties in this Advent calendar are also suitable for growing in raised beds or on the balcony.
A seed Advent calendar makes the perfect gift for anyone who loves gardening.
All texts on the packaging of the Advent calender and on the seed packets are in German.
Dimensions: approx. 32,5 x 24,5 x 4,5 cm
