For more variety in your garden and on the plate, you can grow three different tomato varieties: Yellow Submarine is a high-yielding and vigorous cocktail tomato. The pear-shaped, yellow fruits grow in large clusters and have soft skin as well as a mild, fruity flavour. It is slightly prone to cracking and requires rain protection. Matina, an early-maturing, standard-sized outdoor tomato, is also suitable for the greenhouse. The bright red fruits have a pleasantly fruity, sweet flavour. Due to its blight tolerance, the Roma tomato Dorenia can grow without a roof. Its oval fruits are very firm and have a balanced, fruity flavour.
TIP: Grow the young plants in a bright and warm location. Sow seeds shallowly in pots. When planting in garden beds, place the root ball deep in the soil, as secondary roots form along the main stem. Provide direct support, such as a stake or strings attached to the frame. Regularly remove side shoots from the leaf axils. After harvesting the first fruit cluster from the lower trusses, remove the leaves close to the ground.
The information on the bag is only available in German.
