Beetroot variety Foniro developed from Forono. Cylindrical type, uniform dark red colour, can be cut into regular slices when processed. Somewhat shorter season than Robuschka. For summer and autumn harvest. An agreeable mild sweet flavour. Also available as precision seed (calibrated).
