De Barbentane is a very vigorous and healthy outdoor aubergine variety from France, with upright growth. Support is recommended. The fruits grow to around 20-25 cm long, have a long barrel shape and are dark to black in colour with a smooth, shiny skin. Speciality for amateur gardeners.
