Ibis is a quick growing celeriac strain with a smooth, oval round root. The leaves are fresh green, medium long and slightly drooping and particularly robust against Septoria. The small leaf crown simplifies cleaning. Its good resistance to bolting means it can be grown early under protection. Very good storage variety.

Cultivation
Seed germination temperature: ca. 20 °C
Note: Keeping seedlings warm enough will prevent bolting
Planting distance: ca. 40 x 40 cmOptimal amount of plants: 6-7 plants/m²Sowing depth: Germinates in light, lightly covered.Note: All celery seed is tested for seed borne disease before it can be sold. If any trace of Septoria is discovered the seeds are given a warm water treatment to kill of the spores.
