Cuisse de Poulet is a long, shallot-like traditional onion from France. Short light grey-green leaves, pink-white flesh, average keeping quality, good level of sweetness and exceptional aroma. Thanks to its taste it is best eaten raw.

The Grüner Berg horticultural farm is located on the Querfurt Plateau, south of Halle (Saale), in the rain shadow of the Harz Mountains. In addition to seed propagation, biodynamic vegetables are marketed through the organic food trade and a community-supported agriculture (CSA) scheme.
Our partner farm Rose Saatzucht is located in the north of Erfurt. There, Annegret Rose has been passionately growing and propagating her impressively beautiful peonies for many years. Before a root can be lifted for sale, the perennial grows in her fields for around 6-7 years. Since 1993, the traditional farm has been cultivating a wide variety of over 200 different types of vegetables, herbs and flowers under Demeter guidelines for seed production.
