Simona is a green, flat-round turnip with a low tendency for developing side roots and low mildew susceptibility. Narrow leaf base and hence easy to harvest. Relatively uniform roots with mid-green leaves. Bolt resistant and good storage capacity. Exceptionally good flavour.
