Winter isn’t the season for a lot of growth but it is still a time when harvesting is possible. Fresh, flavourful salads, frost-hardy herbs, cabbages, onions, root vegetables and tuber vegetables: A lot of plants are more frost-hardy than most people think. We have selected varieties which can be planted outdoors without a roof above their heads. This enables winter gardening with true seasonality and vegetables that can be grown without adding heating. The planting times refer to winter harvest.
