Helena is a parthenocarpic cucumber for protected cropping. Forms long smooth fruits of a mid to deep green colour. The variety bred in north Germany is susceptible to tip burn in hot situations, hence the need to provide shade. Helena may form the odd male flower if under stress. The fruits are of an exceptional flavour.
